Expert flight instruction for new pilots and professionals.
Perhaps you're just flying curious, or maybe you're already a Top Gun pilot looking to upgrade your skills. Either way, Middletown Regional Flight Training Institute's FAA Certified Flight Instructors will show you the way. Their goal is to train safe, by-the-book pilots, who can be their friends in the sky.
Try out flying with a Discovery Flight for only $75.
If you're new to flying, try a 30-minute Discovery Flight with one of our certified instructors. You'll get a taste of our ground school, and actually fly the plane for a brief period. If you're already a pilot, share a gift certificate with a landlubber friend!
Fly within your budget.
Fees vary depending on your training goals, but a basic Private Pilot's Certificate requires an investment of $7,000. But, as you explore the joys of flying, you won't need your own aircraft. Most of our students earn their wings on one of the 4 planes MRFTI has available for rental.
Fly by learning on the ground.
As a Middletown Regional Flight Training Institute student, you'll learn in the air, and on the ground. You'll learn flight rules and regulations, flight planning, navigation, radio procedures and weather. Our modern classroom environment combines computer technology with instructor expertise to ensure you're prepared for your FAA tests.
